STar Model B 9mm?

I saw SOG had these for $185 that looks to be a good price for a military 9mm pistol. Any folks here have any experiance with them?

i like mine have had it about a year it shoot real nice and i think the great. only problem is mags are hard to find. i got 4 xtra when i got the pistol im clad i did. Ronald

Don't have the Star,but have the Super Star B....I assume you're talking about the regular star....
I shoot my best with the super star B,better than my ruger P95DC,better than my 1927Colt......Had one jam out of about 100 rounds....The Super model has some improvements over the regular star(what they are I don't know,maybe loaded chamber indicator?).
I really need to pick up one of the regualr stars.....If you are talking about the Super Star B,I don't believe it's a C+R(at least mine from SOG wasn't) but I'd buy it again....

is the cal 9mm luger in SOG star or 9mm Largo? I think most of Star B is 9mm largo which is 9x23. I have a super B, but didn't get to shoot it yet because of the ammo differentiation.

My Super Star B is 9mm P(arabellem)=Luger.....
I sure hope so since I've been shooting 9mm Luger through it!:D

The SOG Star Model B is 9mm Luger. I have one and it is the reason that I hesitate to deal with SOG again. It is a nice pistol to shoot when it shoots. It is quite accuate. Unfortunately it fails to feed and extract frequently. In addition the last time I took it out, I let my friend fire it and the frame stop lever fell out and one of the pins worked loose. This is after three exchanges with SOG. None of the guns would load from a full magazine. After spending a bundle in shipping I just decided to keep it. SOG never gave me any trouble in returning merchandise but three times and still a lemon is ridiculous. Just my two cents.
