1. It just came in from SAMCO. It makes me mad, I dont have to do anything to it but go shoot it. Mirror barrel, 95% blue and the wood has a beautiful light color to it, This is a 1907 straight bolt.

2 I LOVE IT, IM GOING TO THE RANGE IN THE AM. FIRST WEEKEND OFF IN A MONTH:D

Swedish Mausers the best there is IMO. Accurate, long range capable, mild recoil, great penetration, best BC of any Mauser round if I'm not mistaken. I wish this country had adopted the round.

Just imagine if the Garand had been chambered in it! Think of all the cheap 6.5 surplus ammo that would have been available! (Sigh)

1. Schultz, your making me cry. Blame it on McCarther. He had to get rid of all that surplus WWI ammo in 30.06

Amen! Shooting the 6.5 round, for some reason, feels better aesthetically than even the 5.56.I get the "feeling" when I shoot it that I'm firing the best that ballistics and technology could come up with to maximize effect and efficiency.
