I love mine. Does your have the skeleton stock or do you have a pistol grip on it. When I saw that WASR-10's were sold with PG I put one on mine. Love it even more now.

i have to agree ive only shot 80ish threw mine 20 i bump fired a hole clip not 1 missfire thats basicly full auto only thing ive had a problem with is my front sight is welded to the barrel so i can adjust for windage :( and it shoots about 1-1.5 inches to the left every 25 yards so at 50 yards aroud 2 inches etc etc. will probly be getting a new barrel for the above 2 reasons than and i wanted to put a flash suppressor on it. and cant becuse of the welded front sight.

Are you saying that the front sight adjustment has been welded, or do you mean that your front sight block itself is actually welded to the barrel? Did you buy it new or used?
Are you sure its welded and not just stuck, they are on there pretty tight? They are usually pressed onto the barrel and pinned.
I'm curious because I have a couple of WASR's and I've never seen one with the sight welded on.

its new and here are the pics i got it for 150 bucks so buying a new barrel isn't a big deal althow it is a bit of a hassle. if any of you have had a simalar problem with yours or know how to fix this it would be much apreceated.

Ok, the front sight block isn't welded to the barrel, that muzzle nut is tack welded to the front sight block. When I put the compensator on mine, ( BTW, you want a compensator, NOT a flash suppressor, unless you want to talk to the nice men from the ATF ) I cut through the weld with a dremel, very carefully, didn't want to cut into the sight block or the barrel, and just tapped the nut off. Don't worry, there are no threads under it.
Anyway the FSB is pressed on and there are two pins that hold in place, they can be a pain to remove if you try to push them out from the wrong side. I had to straighten the FSB on my SAR-1, it was only very slightly canted and wasn't too bad to fix.
Good luck

ok thanks question thow are flash suppresors actualy illegal to own in Minnesota or are they jut frowned on as you say basicly i wan't a break/flash hider for the looks not for much actual improvement on the wepon since it doesn't kick much in the first place.
here is what i was looking at for a flash suppresor

Preban guns are allowed a number of "evil" features that are definitely prohibited on post ban guns. For instance folding stocks are available that would fit your gun, but you can only legally install one if you are putting it on a preban gun. The same is true of mounting bayonets, preban yes, postban no.
To the best of my knowledge, it is against federal law to install a Flash Suppressor on a post ban weapon, which is what your WASR-10 is.
If you are not 100% sure it is legal, the only advice I would give you is, don't do it.
You may want to look at the BATF website or phone them to be on the safe side.
Good luck

What is the muzzle fake for? I really like that look to the AK. I have a SAR 1. Will it fit on it?

you mean break? it lessons raise so you can shoot at a stationary target faster without re adjusting your aim each shot supposedly :)

flash suppresor the top pic just makes it so a sniper in the brush is harder to spot by reducing the flash wen he fires.

and they both look cool althow i like the flash suppresor better but went with the break becuse i read about both of them and that flash is a screw on type works with pre bans i beleave and the break is the kind that you pin on.

That pin on AK47 Style brake fom SKSMAN will not fit your rifle, it is made for the SKS rifle and pins on the front sight.

What you need is more like this one
http://store3.yimg.com/I/cdnn_1602_1139182

from cdnn
http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ak47.html

It is threaded but with some Standard JB WELD it will slip on the end of the WASR barrel for a nice tight fit and then just have a tack weld put under the front sight block where the muzzle nut was welded before. I did both of my WASR's this way and it worked really well. Just be careful that you align it with the barrel carefully, you wouldn't wanr to get it off center and have a bullet hit it on the way out.

the other alternative is to find a setscrew brake but they are not as easy to come by as they used to be.
Good luck
