I just got back my Romanian SKS trigger group from gunsmith Don Barnes contact at ddbarnes@bright.net. The service advertises cleans, and then hones the trigger group to 3 1/2 -4 1/2 lb pull. After getting the trigger back today reinstalling it back, I found it quite surprising.
The trigger group was thoroughly cleaned and lubricated. Like a two stage trigger, there is some initial take up,but the trigger has a very positive stop just before the break. I prefer this as it lets you know where the break is going to come. I do not have a trigger pull gauge, but would guess the weight be around 4lbs, with very little back travel. Overall a great improvement to the mushy trigger feel I had before. Mr. Barnes charges $29.95 and return shipping. I would highly recommend. I'll heading to the range this weekend, will post a further report
