Here's a couple of pictures of my new pistol. It's generally in great shape. The only problem was it's finicky about magazines. Got one, so far, that works. Shot this pistol three times now. Very accurate and a nice addition to anybody's collection. If you were thinking about getting one, I'd jump, before they disappear.

One day I'll get the lighting right.

She looks great in her Galco leather.
After the gunshow tomorrow, I'm going to do a little ramp polishing on her.
CA out.

That's funny, Scheutz. Thanks Zouave. I'm very happy with this piece. Shot 100 rounds through it. Another 100 on Sunday.
Getting my .45 cal carbide dies on Tuesday. I'll acquire the other necessary componentage tomorrow at the gunshow. Then, I'm reloading for this guy as well as my 40.
Here's El Presidente, dressed up in his leather, posing with his most excellent, and Evil, Friends:

1. They are $159.00 and I just ordered a second because they are good looking 45s. This one is rated in Fair condition. But I believe it was only because of the lack of bluing ( only %50) and dirty grips. I broke her down and she is as tight and clean as my Colt is. I am cleaning the grips and putting toung oil on them. They appear to be made of Rosewood as it has a red hue when tuong oil applied.
2. I would get one before they run out.:)

Neil, nice gun. I saw your thread. You should get one of these complete your collection.
230 gr RN ammo works best in this piece. Tomorrow, I break out the reloading book and pick a recipe for reloading. I bought all I need for reloading .45 caliber now.
