I took my semi-auto 12-gauge out to the range yesterday and something happen that I've never seen before. This is a 2 parter.
1st part. Several times, the spent shells kept breaking in two just below the primer end. This happen several times so I chalked it up to cheap Walmart ammo and began firing one shell at a time. Why would this happen?
2nd part. After running several non-Walmart rounds through it, I thought I was safe and loaded it up with the cheap 2 3/4 Federals. The first shot of 9 that I loaded shot fine, but the second failed to shoot. In fact, it got stuck in the chamber. After probably 30 attempts to pull the bolt back, I am still unable to get the shell out. I still have the live round in my chamber and have no idea how to get it out.
Never had the problem of not being able to get a shell out of a gun before, especially a live shell. Kind of paranoid about what could happen.
The shotgun is an off brand Turkish made, called a Hug-San. Please help if you can.-
