i was @ the harrisburg show and bought 40 rds for 25.00. its made in portugal, blue box, FNM. is there anywhere to get ammo for this gun cheaper? i am not a reloader, so it really doesnt matter what i shoot. i would rather non corrosive. a guy @ the show said it was ok to shoot corrosive ammo as long as you clean the gun right away. if i shoot it and clean it say 2 hrs later, will this be ok? thansk for the help.

AIM sells 7.5 Swiss 10rd boxes for $3.95 or 480rd packs for $168. This is non-corrosive, brass-cased ammo.
As a matter of fact, they have the "shooters grade" K31 Carbine on sale right now for less than $80 :)
It's a shame when you can buy the rifle for less than what you paid for 150 rds of ammo, ain't it?
Here's their web address: http://aimsurplus.com/

The only Swiss surplus is Noncorrosive but at $.36 / round it isn't cheap. BTW you could reload the ammo cases you just bought and have a per round cost as little as $.19 each round. The round can use any .308 " diameter bullet. Pulled GI .30-06 projectiles can be had for about $.06 each. You'll have the spent cases. Primers are about $16 / 1000. Powder about $18 / lb. At average charge sizes a pound of powder will yield about 150 shots and the cost per round of about $.11 each.
Dies about $25 for a set. Samll single stage press, powder measure, powder scale and misc. bits should set you back another $125.
