John Browning was a friggin' genius. I've said it before around here, but it bears repeating, no single man has had a greater impact on modern firearms than John Moses Browning.

To name a few:

Winchester 1885
Winchester 1890
Winchester 1894
Winchester 1895
Winchester 1897
Browning A5
B.A.R.
1911
Ithaca 37
Browning High Power

Just to show the very tip of the iceberg and, the foundation and refinement of the modern small arm. Kind of interesting to note that we're still using variations of designs from a guy that died in 1926.

One day a couple years ago I was rumaging through my safe and realized that something like 8 of my 10 (at the time) firearms were Browning designs, or slight variations thereof.

The ultimate self defense firearm. Even if your wearing a vest, your going down. Colt Gold Cup NM series 80. My personal carry piece.

The definition of kinetic energy!! POW!!!

Hold out your palm and have someone whack it with a baseball bat. You'll get the idea.
