Does anyone sell just barreled recivers?
Does anyone sell a synthetic stock set?
Do all C&R M1 Carbines have the bayonet lug?
Thanks

You can get barrels, receivers, and barreled receivers from George Liakos at Riverbank Armory. I've dealt with him several times and he has always been good to work with.

You can get synthetic stocks, and other M1 carbine replacement stocks, from Sportsmanguide.com. I've seen a synthetic stock recently in one of their catalogs. There web site has a search feature that will help you find them.
Also, Choate Machine & Tool Corp. makes a synthetic pistol grip stock for the M1 carbine.

As for bayonet lugs . . . practically all USGI carbines went through a rebuilding/referbishing program at the end of WWII to update all M1 carbines to the then current production standards. This included, among other issues, replacing flip sites with the new adjustable sites, changeing out the push safety for the flip safety, and adding the Type III barrel band with baynet lug. To answer your question, yes, USGI C&R M1 carbines will have a baynet lug.
You can find both original (expensive) Type I and Type II barrel bands without the bayonet lugs, as well as reproduction ones to replace your Type III if you choose to do so. It does mean pulling the front site, and this is not always easy without a sitepuller tool.

As far as M1 carbines go, if you just gotta have the part right now and you don't have the time or want to hit the gun shows and scrounge around for exactly what you're looking for, George at Riverbank will either have it or can get it. That usually comes with a price.
He's also done some gunsmithing work on carbines for me a couple of times and it has been very reasonable, actually more reasonable than I could get it done locally.
