OMG...They're BEAUTIFUL They call them de-mill for obvious reasons ( cut reciever) But they look new and unfired. I got mine with the matching number bayonet. I pull it out every night and just rub it.....MMMMMM OH the KIT I mean! I was thinking about cutting a single stack Siagia sporter and using the reciever, then use the parts left over parts on a OOW reciever to make an RPK type. I'll post pics when I get done.


I've got 2 tantal WX-88 on order from Global...when I get them I'll post on them.

You sound like a kid with a new toy. Tell me about the K-Var 5.45, which weapon is it? Was it a kit or assembled? Don't they have several 5.45 kits?

I got a kit from them yesterday! Absolutley beautifull. And these guys package this stuff the BEST i have ever seen. each and every piece is wrapped in plastic. and the wood is seperated by cardboard from them metal pieces to insure no dents or scratches. Plus i got it in two days.

I am interested in one of the kits too but I'm not a gunsmith. I talked to them about the parts kit asking if anyone other than a gunsmith could assemble the kit. They said not unless you had special gunsmithing tools. How do you plan to assemble your kit?

Unless you have a 20 Ton Press and a riveter, it's best to send them to either Informer or Global Trafes for assemnly.

I had Global assemble my Polish PMKM AK-47 kit for about $200 a few monyhs ago. Global also sells receivers, but you need a FFL transfer on that part, it may just be best to call them on all the details.
