Swiss K31 Warning

[PBR]

Dont panic...Nothing major. It is nice out today so I take the
K31 out for some playtime. The K31 ejects almost straight up, Brass comes straight down, into collar, Burns like hell, Redneck dances around, swearing. Wife said it kinda looked like an Indian Rain Dance :eek:

My Wife says " Why didnt you just drop the rifle and get it out of your shirt ? "........Drop the Rifle.......? Women..........:confused:

Both of mine are good with ejection. The brass flies perfectly over my head and lands behind me. My roommate's is another story. It goes straight up!! He actually thinks it's fun because he runs the bolt, and is still able to catch it before it hits him. It is kinda funny to watch....

I remember once, years ago. A buddy of mine was was driving with me in my Jeep with the top down. He flicked his cigarette in the air and at 55 mph it went straight down his shirt. he stated screaming and beating his back!


Now that I look back at it its funny, but at the time I thought the poor guy was having a heart attack...

That remind's me of my chipping slag off a hot weld.You just grin and bear it.Because by the time you get it off it is already burn't in.And i have plenty of reminder's.;)

Hot brass down the neck? That is the rifle's way of saying it loves you. It's the closest the rifle can come to giving you a hickey. ;)

Snicker! It happens to us all one time or another. If you shoot long enough you will get hot brass somewhere on the bod.

My wife and I went to do a CCW class, when doing the firing at the range she stood at my right and as we were firing, a .45 case went down her shirt and got caught about an inch in. Put a hell of a blister on her. She thankfully maintained gun handling discipline and didn't go waving the glock around while trying to get the hot brass out of her shirt! :eek:
