DOB for my 98/22? And other Q's for a newbie

How do I date my 98/22? It is marked:

CS.ST.
ZBROJOVKA (curved)
BRNO

#A2847

Most of the parts match each other, but not the sr#. Sight is in some arabic language. Anybody know what the marks translate to in English?

Are there some basic take-down instructions anywhere on the net? Do I need to check the headspace? How long does it take and how much does a gunsmith charge?

Thanks! I just picked up my first Mauser from Big5, it's in "Good" condition from Century, no rust, good stock with minor dings and very little cosmo, and blueing is mostly worn off. $89 on sale, not bad! :)

If you look at the rear sight you should be able to tell what Arabic letter is 1, 2, 3, etc. then you can tell what numbers are in the date mark. Now comes the hard part, the calendar they use/used is like the Chinese or whatever as it dosen't start at 0000 and go up. You need to add 621, some say 631 to the number to get the date. I've had my Persian Mauser for almost a year and I'm still not 100% sure I've got the date right. :(

And where is the date mark? Doesn't the sight start at 300m, or is it 400m? Is it meters, or yards?

How about some take-down instructions? Also, what's the hole in the trigger guard for? It's at the forward part of the guard, almost like a sling attatchment? Thanks!
