I have heard that Duncan Long's "The Complete AR-15/M-16 Sourcebook," is the one to buy. After some searching, I finally found it for $28 + post at amazon.com. If you're interested, the ISBN number for the book is 0873646878.
I'm interested in picking up a SP-1, so the little blue M-16 booklet the Army issued me back in 1979 just does not cut it.
