Is there anywhere in this world that we can find spare parts for ak .223, and that don`t cost a small fortune. Anywhere!

Hello recon,
You should go to TAPCO's web site and have a look.

I am looking at the 9/20/99 issue of Shotgun News and Tapco is showing a .223 AK bolt assembly kit that includes; carrier with piston, extractor, extractor spring, extractor pin, firing pin, fire pin spring, fire retainer pin for $89.99.

Here's their web site;
www.tapco.com (http://www.tapco.com)

Their phone # is; 1-800-554-1445

They may also have more .223 parts in their catalog.

Hope this is helpful?

As far as I know I thought the 223 and 7.62 AKs all pretty much had interchangable parts. Only difference would be the bolt and barrel and extractor. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.
