What type of rear sight does the FR-8 have? Is it an adjustable peep sight?

Thanks,

Speedfish

The Fr8 I think, has a Spanish made rear sight.

Just teasing...;)

Seriously, I think the sights are very similar to the CETME (adjustable peep). The FR8 was actually a "training rifle" for the CETME. :)

Zouave,
I am unfamiliar with the CETME, does it have an adjustable rear peep sight? I'm considering purchasing a FR-8, due to its popular caliber and mauser action, but if the rear sight lacks the ability to adjust it then I'll have to pass.

Oh yeah, I picked up three K-31's from AIM. Thanks, for the advice.

I don't have a FR-8, and I am not really sure either. I found a website for you to check out on the rifle...

"Here is a good look at the innovative rear combination peep and 'V' notch rear site."

It's a fixed vertical disk diopter wheel with different sized apetures for 200m 300m etc. and one notch for 100m/battle sight.

Elevation and windage is set simultaneously with an off-center eliptical front post.
