Coworker has a 7x57 Chilean Mauser carbine. It has the Navy Crest? Anywho it appears to be in VG+ inside and out except it has been restocked in a nice Walnut Sporter stock. He's asking $100. My questions are:
A. Is it worth $100 as it stands?
B. Can I readily find the stock parts to restore it?
C. Will it cost more to restore than it's worth in terms of hassle and money?
I thought about just offering him $75 and shooting it as is. Since it's not in it's original form I don't have to record it as C&R?
