Did Norinco make pistol grip AK???

I'm talking to a guy about his Norinco AK, I haven't seen it but he says it has a pistol grip stock. Is it legal? What model number
is it?

Yes Norinco made several pistol gripped AKs.
Ask the guy what is written on the receiver and then post it here.
Someone will be able to help you ID it.
