I have a question that I've been meaning to ask, I was going to start a new thread, but I'll ask it here. What is the inside diameter of the barrel jacket?

As far as shooting these, I heard a rumor (that I did not prove or disprove) that American "8mm Mauser" cartridges are loaded with 32 Win. Special bullets, which are the same as 32/40 bullets, .321 in. That, together with the low SAAMI pressure (somewhere around 35,000 psi) might make domestic ammo safe to shoot, depending on your comfort level.
