Tantal's Russian drop pouches......damn cool!

I just received two of Tantal's Russian drop pouches for AK's, and I'm very pleased. I put my pre-ban Polytech and my SSR-85A in them and they look REALLY GOOD!

Understand that these are not padded, but they prevent scratches and are going to protect the rifles in the safe and also for carry.

Alot less bulky than the padded "assault" cases and very convenient.

I also bought one of the Russian padded assault cases for my Yugoslav underfolder, and again, very pleased. Not as expensive as a Galati, but very well made.

I also use AK Drop cases extensively.

They are also nice to disguise your "evil assult rifles" from being seen by snoopy, nosy neighbors, when you depart for the range or gunshows.:D

I got one at a local gun show along with the 4 cell ammo pouch, bought both for 15 dollars.

I use my drop pouch all the time for discreet carry to the car and range.My SAR-1 is wrapped up in it with a loaded 40rounder in the pouch.What more could you ask for?
