I have a Uzi that I am selling for parts. My question is: the reciever has been sawed in half and all that remains is the front part of the reciever that still has the feed ramp, bolt catch, front sights, handguards, and barrel trunion attached. The serial #'s were on the rear part of the reciever which has been disposed of. If I ship the front half of the reciecer with the above parts intact to an out of state buyer along with all the other parts loose, is it legal to do without going through an FFL transfer?

If you would notice, a lot of places sell old WWII mashine-guns and such with DEMILLED recievers over the mail, no FFL. They sell parts kits with recievers cut. You should be OK.

Thanks, Comrade, I checked with my FFL dealer and it's cool to ship a demilled reciever to a non FFL. With all the crap going on about gun regs I just wanted to be sure. I'm not into spending time in a cell with Bubba, if you know what I mean.
PS are you really from Russia? My wife was born in the US, but only 7mos after her parents immigrated from St. Perersberg. Her great grandfather was a Cossik and she still has alot of family there. We are considering visiting...don't know now with what's going on over there now though.
