What a compact 8mm! 36" total length, and weighing in at 6lbs, 10oz, this baby has "shoulder sledgehammer" written all over it!

I've heard the Persian Mausers were bad....................I can't wait to shoot 198 grain bullets outa this one!

1. After my shop is completed I will have to get a Persian. Let us know how she hanles.

2. I have to get the electrician out to run my power. I cant move any guns in until I get a dehumidifier set up and keep the damn thing dry.

I was wondering about the moisture in the shed myself. I figured you were putting a nice central heating system in it ;)

Hey guys, get em while you can. Springfield Sporters is selling them for $65 if they still have any left. They supposedly were just discovered stored in a cave in Algeria.

I can't provide a picture, no digital camera here, but the condition is very similar to the Carcanos coming from Century, and it has cleaned up real nice. I got it in a trade at the gunshow this past weekend, which also netted me another accuracy marked Carcano, this time an M41 long rifle. There is no arsenal mark, but the stock and the barrel serial numbers match, and the bolt action is quite smooth. I will probably shoot it this weekend.

Neil - my Carcano count is now 6 and consists of

3 Terni made 1940 91/38 Short Rifles, 2 of them accuracy marked
1 Terni 1943 M43 Long Rifle (early 60's import) also accuracy marked
1 Beretta 91/38 Cavalry Carbine - accuracy marked
1 Brescia made M38 S 8mm Carbine
