AR Questions

I'm considering an AR-15...I have heard they are modular...does this mean by changing an upper and the bolt the rifle can be converted to almost any caliber? 9mm, .308, etc? Thanks for your help guys.

Yes, 9MM, .45 ACP, 22LR, .50 AE, .458 Slegdehammer round but to get to a .308 you need a complete AR-10 or SR-25.

The mag well on the AR15 is far to small for a .308 Mag.
