1. The before and after pics of the Century Ballister Molina I just purchased. All the markings are crisp and mechanically a beautiful pistol. The grip was broken in two and I doweled it and elmer glued it back together. It turned out very stong. I sanded the ribs down as I had to in order to repair the grip.

2. I will have to post later the Photoshop is down damn it.

1. Cold Blue is fine if you let it cure and put on a couple of coats. Ive also learned that you rub it off after a minute with cold water before sitting it up to cure.;)

1. In this case I first used the Birchwood Casey rust and Blue remover to remove any old blue or rust, Then I used 0000 steelwool to clean the metal.

2. Of course the gun has been stripped down, so I took each section and used a cotton rag to apply the oxpho dark blue, I let it penetrate about 1 min then I used a cloth soaked in cold water to rub the blue. This sets it and clean off any excess, I then put it down overnight.

3. Next day I used the 0000 steelwool to polish and repeated the procedure until I got the desired color.

4. Finally I used the OOOO steelwool to give it a final polish and oiled her.

5. Cold Blue has to cure overnight, Most of the time if you dont use the cold water rub and let cure it will rub right off when you polish it.
