1. This is the after product. I had to piece the grip that was broken in two back together, hence I sanded the ribs down and then cleaned the metal with Birchwood Casey Rust and Blue remover and went back with OXPHO Blue from Brownells.

thats a damn good job you did there Neil!maybe I should send you my 1917 made 1911 my grandpa gave me for a reblue.:D nice work!

Yours looks just like mine when I got, You have done a good job on upgrade, still working on mine, How does yours feed? Mine done OK with new mags but w/old it jams.

my Ballester Molina works very well except it wont stay open after the last round is fired. I know the problem is due to the mag not staying up in the mag
well tight. It drops down about 1/8 of and inch or so . It does this with the original mag and new 1911 mags I have. How can this be fixed. I know it must be simple, just dont know if it is the mag or the mag catch in the pistol........and how to adjust them.....

how do you open your attachments? I am trying to look at your picks and i get a webpage that says "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?" and acts like im gonna logout.
What am i doing wrong?
