I got the URL for a quiz/game in my inbox today from my aunt, apparently she sent it to everyone in her address book which included me. It's probably making it's rounds with the sheeple like wildfire as it was forwarded to her.
It's supposed to be an interactive quiz about "The Is your family safe? Quiz an interactive game for parents, adults and teens." it's rigged beyond all get out. No matter how you answer the questions, which are all true or false, you either get a red light "Danger: Your family is NOT safe!" or a yellow light "Caution: Your family may still be at risk!" all answers are followed by the same "professional" statistics they try and feed everyone, leaving those ever gullible sheeple feeling even more afraid as ever answer puts them in danger. I should'nt be surprized as this "quiz" is on the Million Mom March site.
Hell you even get a yellow caution light if you answer question one as false, you get an explaination why at the end of the quiz, not one green "safe" light anywhere. Anyways for a laugh here's the questions:
1) There is a gun in my/our home.
2) I/we keep the gun loaded in case it needs to be used.
3) I could never mistake a family member for an attacker in the middle of the night.
4) There could be a gun in the house where my children sometimes play or visit.
5) My children know where the gun in our home is kept.
6) Sometimes members of my family get in heated arguments, become sad, or frightened.
**personal note on question 6** like we all don't get into heated arguments, become sad, or frightened at some point during our relationships, guess they're trying to make you believe that if you do any of the above and have a gun we're all not safe.
7) Having a gun in my/our home makes me feel safe.
8) I know that my family members do not have access to the gun in my/our home.
9) I/we have a gun and it does have a safety mechanism on it.
10)My children come home from school to a house that has a gun and no parent or adult.
Good god!! A quiz/game no one can win but them, who'd a thunk it!! BTW here's their explanation of why you get no green light even if you answer question number one "false" IE: you don't own a gun:
"If you only answered question 1 received CAUTION and have no children ...
You received CAUTION because although you eliminated the risk of gun injury and death due to a gun you keep in the home, you or those you love could be injured or die from gun injuries in the homes of others.
It is up to you to talk to your family, friends, relatives, community and coworkers about the dangers of guns for their protection. Often, people don't think about guns being in the homes their families visit or even the danger to which you are exposed. Share the answers in this quiz to help educate them about the dangers of guns. The safest thing is not to keep a gun in the home, but if you do, always unload it and lock it up. Lock up the ammunition separately from the gun. Always keep the combination and/or keys to the locked storage container away from children and unauthorized adults."
I guess it's still not safe visting the relatives at christmas or taking the dog for a walk in the neighborhood with all them there guns out there!! Just for sh*ts and grins I sent my auntie a reply advising her that I have trained both my children on what to do if they find a gun and how to use them when needed, not to mention respect for guns. I also asked if she would like to take a trip to the range with me so I can have an instructer I know show her just how safe guns can be when treated properly and with training and respect. Oh well no reply yet, guess I won't see her at my house on the holidays anymore seeins how I have TWO whole guns in the house!! :D
It's so funny you gotta laugh but yet at the same time it's so very sad as you know the sheeple are eating this up! Oh well, tell me what ya all think!!
