After contacting Levi's a month ago to let them know I will no longer buy their product due to their support of anti-gun causes, this is what they sent me as a reply. A good old form letter, but they did include a survey that is a one time thing tied to my original e-mail. The survey had a place for special comments, I let them know I would no longer purchase their products because of their support of gun control.

What a meaningless reply. They don't even mention the
subject matter at hand. With responses like this they should be running for office. I guess Wrangler is next on the list. By the time we're through we'd all better being living in Florida because we'll all be naked!

Do you or don't you support our country's Bill of
Rights? Make like you're in court: Yes or No?
"blah, blah, blah..."
You're evading the question; Yes or No?
"blah, blah, blah..."
I'll ask you one more time. If you fail to answer
the question being asked you will be held in contempt
of the American public, your name will be deleted from
lists of "Americana", and your products will be boycotted!

You've got to be very concrete when dealing with fuckers;
they can be given no quarter. There are, however, timeswhen even this is totally ineffective, to wit: a number of years ago a
reporter asked Jesse "Just Call Me Hypocrite" Jackson a very
staightfoward question. Jesse answered as Jesse does. The reporter remarked that his reply had absolutely nothing to do with what he'd asked and posed the question again. He went round and round FIVE times - he was persistent - and finally
threw his hands up in resignation and dismay. It was really quite
unbelievable.
