usually I do not like "sporterized" rifles, but I must say you did a great job on them.

They look like fine hunting rifles.

1. I blieve that was why they were so cheap(Bubbiezed or should I say Ivanized). I bought them to give away as presents to some of my hunting buddies for Christmas and a Brother-in-Law. They were hacked up with initials and the like carved in them. One had a tin can cut to shape a buttstock.

2. I recarved the rough spots they hacked, then used woodfiller to match and fill gouges, and I got a piece of heavy steelplate to cut a buttstock out for the top one. I stripped the old pieces of tin they used for sling swivels and replaced with storebought and some slings.

3. They are great bushrifles or deerhunting rifles for the price but again they were pretty hacked up. If you get one be prepared to put some major work into them to get them looking good.
