I would get a semi juiced up single stack for the price of a p-14.Personally I think they cost a little to much for what you get.If I was going to get a para-ordnance,Id get that they make That looks like one sweet gun and Ive heard nothing but good things about it.

If you like the wide grip frame then the Para is a fine weapon as long as you realize that it may need minor tuning out of the box. A couple of years ago they suffered from soft hammer/sear components and tended to double after a few hundred rounds. They may have solved this by now but I can't say for sure. I used a customized P-14 in USPSA Limited class for two years and it functioned flawlessly! For carry purposes I have always preferred the single stack guns as they present a much lower profile and can be concealed more easily. I have heard nothing but good things about the Para single stack LDA guns so take a look at those if you think you might like the ( very lite and smooth ) double action trigger. Hope this helps.
