If I own a post ban AK with a USA made kit installed with 8 US parts, can I have a (imported) threaded "slant" muzzle brake "welded" on my rifle? or is a "slant" muzzle brake considered a "flash hider" also?

You can put any muzzle brake on your gun that you want. Flash suppressors are banned. Threaded barrels that can accept screw-on flash suppressors are banned. Muzzle brakes are not banned. My post-ban Maadi came with a "slant" muzzle brake installed. It is screwed onto a threaded barrel, then tack-welded so it is permanent and cannot be removed. Also, a muzzle brake is not a part counted toward the magic less-than-10 imported parts, so an imported muzzle-break would not increase the overall count of imported parts.
