Pistol grip to thumbhole?

Could you take and put a pistol grip on a post-ban rifle and put a piece of metal from the pistol grip to the stock.(see pic)

I think this would make it a thumbhole..You'd get the pistol grip look and with a piece of stainless steel it'd look pretty good

I think they need to regulate the aluminum bats and why you need one.

I dont see why not. The ATF has already ruled that a thumbhole on an AR-15 still does not allow you to have threaded bbl because its still considered a pistol grip. Of course if you asked 10 ATF agents, you would get 10 differed answers. I wonder how much crime the Butthole stocks , no bayonet lug, and flash hiders have prevented? We all know the answer to that!
