Hunting AK to Thumb-Hole Stock?

I have a Hunting AK (as it was called). It looks like a regular rifle with a big magazine http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif Anyway I want to put a Thumb-Hole Stock/Grip on it-- Is this legal?

It's legal (unless your state says otherwise) since it's no different than putting a thumbhole stock on any other straight-stocked rifle. However, a thumbhole stock may not fit properly (trigger distance & stock mounting). You would have to check with Choate & other thumbhole mfgrs to see if they make something for your rifle (who makes it & what model is it?)
