Hey guys, not sure when it's up for vote but after checking a bunch of anti-gunnie sites they are getting their members to e-mail their representatives to vote "NO" on this bill. Seems the anti's want this one to fail the house real bad like.

Just a thought, but why shouldn't we take the 5 min to go to this site http://www.congress.org/ and email our reps in support of the bill. You know, fight fire with fire instead of just :cryeyes: about it when they get their way.

The two key points I like about it is that first, instead of three business days for a background check they will be required to do so in 72 hours, weekends and holidays included. Also if the smaller gun shows have less than 9 vendors there are no checks required. Now this is if I'm reading it right but I'm pretty sure I am. I saw the link with the entire bill on it last week but I failed to bookmark it. I'll try and find it if anyone wants to see it.

BTW with what seems to be some dems going semi-proguns for votes who knows, a few hundred e-mails might swing some our way on this one. Again this is House bill H. R. 2037, so e-mail your rep not your congressman!

I'm going to be watching the anti's sites from now one and if noone minds I'll be posting info on bills that they are either trying to kill or get passed and I'll post 'em here so that those who want can get their voices heard. Lemmie know!
