I just ordered a CZ 52 from Century and want to get some ammo. Who, what, where has/is the best ammo for this pistol?

Is the bulgarian stuff any good?

Best ammo for the CZ52 Pistol, IMO the Sellier & Bellot Czech new ammo is best. Clean, noncorrosive, new, reloadable.

The surplus that was best was the Norinco Chicom. It was banned by Klinton sadly. It was also noncorrosive if I remember correctly.

Bulgarian, Yugoslave, Czech not sure but they are all hot. Then there is some ammo from somewhere that I don't recall that is submachingun ammo that is too hot for even the CZ52 pistol. You might run a search function to find this. I think it was Bulgarian but I'm not sure at all.

The hot ammo was Bulgarian ammo in pink boxes.

I saw a site that showed a cracked frame, slide, and breech on the barrel from that ammo. The ammo was made for submachine guns not the Tokerov or CV52.

I have some of the regular Bulgarian ammo and the only problems from it so far is missfires. Just have to hit the primer twice on some rounds for it to fire.

The Bulgarian ammo for the CZ52/Tokerov is marked on the box with blue ink and has TT-7.62/mm on the label. It's for handguns.

I'm glad you posted this here. I was just looking at the SOG Yugo ammo and I knew I'd read that you had question marks with it

The S & B is good clean ammo, reloadable as Schuetzenman has said, and in WA esily accessable at the gun shows. I vote with Schuetzenman on this one.
