Has anybody else had trouble with US mags
causing jams in thier AR15. If I use 30 round Colt
Mag that came with rifle there is no problems.
If you mean USA brand mags yes they are known for being useless. I have had a few and they all caused problems.
Stick with the GI mags or Thermolds.

Welcome to the group, tommyd.
What redneck said, stick with USGI (gov't issue) mags. They are aluminum as opposed to aftermarket steel. The better ones have a green follower as a fix for feed problems but most are fine without. Prices for 30 rounders run at gun show from $15 to $20.
I see that you are in Indiana! The 1500 gun and knife show at the state fair grounds on May 31, June 1 and 2 would be a good place to look. There are usually a lot of mag dealers. Shop around before you buy, there are a lot of rip-offs, but several honest sellers. I'll be there browsing on Friday around 3:30. You'll have a hard time missing me, I'll be the one wearing the AK-47 owners of America shirt! Yes I have both AR and AKs.

One thing for sure these USA brand mags are
useless. I will buy GI mags next time. Thanks Redneck.
