A full inspection of this one will come later after I pick it up. I only got a look as I got to the dealer too late to do the paperwork.

It's a definate keeper. VG wood, though rough with no dents or dings. Blueing overall is about 85-90% excluding butt plate of course. Bore quality will be a mystery until I dig the cosmoline out, (we're talking full load here gents!), but the bit I could see towards the muzzel end looked pretty darn good. The whole gun looks like it was dipped in cosmoline a dozen times! Nothing matches serial number wise as seems typical. The trigger guard looks new. Not refinished, but brand spanking new.

This one should clean up very nicely and be a definate shooter (I promise I'll shoot this one Schuetz).:D

If I can dig up a digital camera I'll post picks.

The new but rough as a cob stocks are very typical on these. I have one that is that way. I've debated doing it over / sanding it out and rifinishing it. Maybe somday when I have time on my hands. :D

Mine came with the same unfinished stock. Just used steel wool and 50/50 then finished with Tung oil. Turned out great!

Turk is on the left.
