Is there anything that can done to stop my PolyTec from denting the brass on ejection? What part of the weapons receiver is causing this problem? If you know the answer please reply to this message.

Thanks

The dent is caused by the edge of the receiver cover. The bolt extracts the cartridge, the ejector spins it out of the bolt into the cover, and it bounces off so that it ejects forward, away from people in line with you. This is much appreciated by shooters at the range.
The AK was designed for steel-cased ammo that would not be reloaded, so it didn't make a difference. With brass cases, especially reloadable ones, it's a problem, because it dents and cuts the case both. I have tried to pad the cover edge, but it bounced the case back into the action.
H&K and others have an "ejection buffer", but I've never seen one. If it works, fine, but if it can cause a jam, it's not worth it.
