i bought a hesse ak-47 with a blonde wooden thumbhole stock at a gun show , i went to the range after cleaning it . and fired 100 rounds shooting russian hollow points at least every third round failed to feed into the chamber most of them hit the bevel around the chamber and stopped ,some fliped up past the chamber and stuck in the reciver. i was told that it might clear up after another hundred rounds so back to the range , fired a hundred rounds and the pin that the hammer pivots on came out of the reciver twice and jamed up the works .after i fixed it i had to shoot with my thumb on the pin . it shoots real good for a single shot rifle ,i really had to scrape to come up with the money for this gun , is there any way i can fix the feeding problems . it came with a 30 rd mag and i bought a 20 rd same trouble with both.

mosbysmen, read this thread for advice on the feed problem: http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/Forum6/HTML/001936.html
As for the pin-- a retaining spring that fits against the left side of the reciever retains the trigger/disconnector and hammer pins in place by snapping into a slot in the pin. Remove your reciever cover, operating spring assy, bolt carrier, and look at where the pin meets the left side of the reciever. The pin should have a slot that the retaining spring fits into-- make sure that it is snapping into place. You may need to take a small punch (or screwdriver) and CAREFULLY push the retaining spring down into the slot. Post back if this is not clear.
More details of dissassembly are here (including the trigger group): http://www.ak-47.net/ak47/comp.html
This may clarify some of what I have written.
