My friend asked me to install a B-Square scope mount on his MAK-90 (I tend to be more mechanically inclined than he is) which involved pulling the trigger pin and the hammer pin. However, after the install, the disconnect doesn't seem to want to come in contact with the safety when the action is cycled. If I reach in and push it down, it realigns and will allow me to dry fire, but as soon as I cycle the action again it does the same thing. It almost seems like there is too much play in the trigger pin, but I really can't remember. Anyone care to shed some light on this?

I've had a share of trouble from the B-Square mounts. Safety lever travel is shortened unless you notch the lever. The nut for the cross bolt which replaces the pin can be tightened without dropping properly into the reciever hole. the entire unit can float as much as there is clearance between the cross bolts and reciever holes, unless you connect the reciever cover to the mount under tension. The protrusion in front of the ejection port must be cut back, or casings will bounce back to the action and stovepipe. Other than that, its a well designed mount. TURBO
