cleaning the 75 round drum

I just sprayed a few rounds outside of Vegas and got alot of sand inside my norinco 75 round drum. What is the best way to clean it out?

Fun, aren't they?

Open the rear of the mag.
Empty any ammo from within.

Shake any loose sand out.
Spray liberally with break cleaner, or your preferred solvent. Just something to loosen the crap, which will evaporate easily.

Allow to dry.

Thanks Benjamin it worked. I also coated the inside with a light coat of C.L.P. and its spotless.
