Rifle bore cleaner...?

What do you guys think about GI rifle bore cleaner sold by Cheaper than dirt. There are several markings on the 8 oz can (MIL-C-372 C, M6305... and so on.)
There is another one on the same page of their catalog (p.61) sold in 2-oz plastic bottles…
Can they be a good substitute to the HOPPE'S #9 solvent?

I am sure that they would work just fine but I would have a hard time switching from my beloved Hoppe's, it just works so good!

Roman, any gunshop or sporting goods store that carries gun cleaning supplies will carry BreakFree CLP. It's the same stuff as the military CLP only more expensive because it's "retail". Hope this helps!... Tomac

Roman, Sarco is supposed to have the military version in large quantities at discount prices. I haven't been able to find it on their website but if you wish to call them their # is 908-647-3800. If you call them I'd be interested in hearing what their prices are. BTW, I've been using the BreakFree CLP on all my firearms for years and have no complaints (except for the price...) I have just called them and they have CLP in 1pint bottles for $5.99 or 3 bottles for $15 + S&H. Is this price any better than you paid for retail versions of it?

I have just called them to place my order, and found out that my min order should be $20. I was just going to order one pint (to see if I like it first), or max 3 pints, still it is less then their minimum... My option is to find source of CLP closer to my location...
