Does anyone know exactly how to use it? I've been dicking with it and there are all these holes. Can somebody help me with diagrams or something?

Hello,
The slant holes are for lifting the gas tube lever, the round hole is for your cleaning rod to go through, the jag is for scrubing your bore out with patches, the brush is for scrubing the bore and the flat tool can be used to ream out the gas port and it's notch can be used to adjust your front sight.
I think that I got it right but correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, it is mainly used as a pushing aid. I have always used my generic gun cleaning kit to clean my rifles.
