HELP! How do I install this Recoil Buffer?!!!!

I got a buffertech recoil buffer for my AK thinking it would be good to have (longer life for gun and less recoil) but I cant figure out how to take the spring off of the spring guide to install this little bugger! Anyone have any suggestions on how you install these?

You'll need to compress the spring enough to allow you to open the retainer that runs inside the spring. When it opens, the keeper should almost fall off the end. The exact keeper design differs with the design of the AK. Some chinese keepers are just a small metal butterfly, some european ones look more like a cap.
