Gov Issue Rifle Bore Cleaner OK??

$2.97 for 8 oz. seemed like a good price. Anybody know about the government issue stuff. Are these cleaners usually the same formula with a different label, or do brand names really matter. Thanks for any info.

I have used it with no problem on my AK's, FAL's and AR's with no problems. I think it will dull plastics if left on it for awhile but has no harm if wiped right away.
