They say "comming soon" and I think it`s about time!
I`m going to call them Monday morn for the 411.
How about everyone interested in loading this cartridge give them a call and let them know that we would all like a few!(thousand)
If they are sitting on the fence about production maybe we could just nudge them over the edge.
It`s about time someone heard us.
keeping my fingers crossed,

theres already been some guy making it out there for over a year now,he like this company are charging way too much, look for possible $30 or more for a 100 rounds of empty brass..

I just got off the phone with them, the man I spoke to said that this caliber is at the top of their list for production.I asked if he had recieved any other calls about the 5.45 and he said he had recieved a couple today but not much before that so it seems some of us are doing our part.Listen guys,I know that they dont have a 1-800 number but we need to put a bug in their ear.The more folks that call and inquire about this the more they think they will sell and the lower their price will be(lets hope).
I know they will be pricey but this is the best news we`ve heard yet.Lets face it,when one can pick up a case of 5.45 for $100 handloading isn`t going to save him a dime anyway, what we want to do here is load for accuracy and 100 cases is probably sufficient for that purpose.I would be willing to pay $30-$45 for 100.
MAKE THE CALL!!

See that little "*" on the description of the brass. It means that they are going to make it out of some other readily available brass. If you are up to it, you can do that already. Buy, buy, buy, the existing 5.45x39 at the current price. Dies are at least $80.00, bullet resizing die is going to cost you at least $25.00 from Lee, and the brass ain't going to be cheap either. Just as you cannot reload 7.62x39 at the price the Russian stuff is going for now, it will be a long time, if ever, that 5.45x39 will be cheaper to reload. Don't be holding you breath for 1" groups with reformed .223 bullets either.
