And it is accurate! .8" at 100 yds from an Accuracy Marked Model 41 in a vice. Here's the thread from the guy who developed it:

Look out postal shooters, I have an Accuracy Marked Model 41 in mint condition!

Good news. DO you think it will be available at most big ammo sellers?

1. I ordered my model M41 rifle today from Springfield Sporsters. It wont ship till after the holidays but Im anxious to get it.
2. I am hoping that the 6.5 carcano from Hornady will be more readily available then the Norma is. Im sure once they see the orders it will be.
3. I submitted the info that the Carcano website requested Tuesday night.

I know that Cheaperthandirt is already advertising it. I'm sure most people will carry it.
Neil - great, I managed to pick up one at a local show that is mint and accuracy marked. The dealer didn't know what he had. All reports on the SS M41's have been excellent, though.
Did you get my other post about adding your 91/38 Gardone Short rifle to the Carcano Homepage database? The webmaster is interested in that rifle!

I encourage all Carcano fans to order their ammo from the Sportmans guide, they are a sponsor of this website! (Go thru the banner, so they know you are a Gunsnet C&R member) Plus they are a great company to do business with!

Sportsman's Guide also has the buyers club, You pay $30 for one year, you get 5% savings on ammo, 10% on everyting else... If you do not save atleast $30 over the year they will refund you the difference... You can not lose... :jump:
