Daughter called a little bit ago to let me know the SOG .308 MAS 36 arrived via FedEx. Then the wife just called and asked if I still wanted the VG+ MAS 36 at the local store for $115. I told her if that's as low as he'd go then I'd still take it. So I'll have two new rifles waiting on me tonight. I'll try and get pics posted of these two and the MAS 49 I got for Fathers Day. $115 is a bit higher than I'd like to pay for a MAS but the finish is the black enamel which may make it a prewar rifle and the wood is EX+. Really a sweet rifle and I don't have one with the painted finish.

I saw a couple at my local collectables store yesterday. It was a thing of beauty, beatiful light wood and black enamel.

I also saw one with a dial on the left side just under the stacking rod. It seems to move a sleeve up and down the exposed part of the barrel.
Have never seen one like that.

LOL.....:D I wonder if you feel better believing that your daughter and wife "brought" you those 2, not you......so technically you can buy another two this month. :D
