Don't know if this has been posted here in the past...

Thanks for sharing the link, I haven't seen it before. Looks like a real nice museum.

I have been to Solothurn's armory museum. Yeah the same place the 20 mm Solothurn anti tank rifles come from. I wonder if they have a web page? Humm . . . never thought to look.:D

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a webpage for the Solothurn Arsenal. However, if you're evey in Switzerland, it is well worth the visit. They literaly have racks upon racks of rifles from all over the world. They also have a large selection of both medieval weaponry and armor, as well as modern artillery.

The Morges Museum (http://www.swisscastles.ch/Vaud/morges/default.htm) also has some impressive pieces, including a rare Police Vetterli. They too have an impressive display of artillery.

The Swiss Rifle Museum in Bern (http://www.fst-ssv.ch/d/museum/) has a nice selection of rifles, and it includes some rare pieces such as an 1908 Rifle and Carbine (prototypes for the 1911s) and a 1928 Carbine (a K11 fitted with a heavy barrel). Best of all, it's free.
