a dou 43, all matching #'s except the floor plate :( . stamped trigger guard & band. it has some small rust spots, but i'm getting them off ok. laminated stock, i have yet to touch that, hope it cleans up good. needs a cleaning rod. bore is ok, but i'm still cleaning it.

it has some scratch marks on the grip right behing the trigger. the guy said they were from the soldier, his "kill" count. anyone know anything about this ?

all-n-all i'd say i did ok for $400, from the same guy i got the like new M1A from.
and i have been wanting one of these :jump:

I got a cleaning rod for mine from Interordnance, it was around $15, blued.

LOL....not sure how true that is. Maybe I can explain it that way about the trigger guard scratches on my Yugo M59/66. :D

Congrats nonetheless about the purchase, sounds like a great firearm with lots of historical significance. If I ever find a good K98K, I'll pick it up too.
