I'm shooting my .45 (I'll post what happened to my 52 in the general discussion) and I empty my standard colt mag no problems. Empty my McCormick mag (not a the hicap) and it shoots fine til the last bullet which it ejects instead of chambering. Never had that happen before. I just shot out the hollow points that were in it. Want to give both springs a rest before reloading them.

Oh my .45 is a 1991A1. and I'm a scorpion.LOL

I use Chip McCormick mags and I would recommend them.Sounds like the feeding lips on the mag may be a tad bit wide,check it out.And the springs on these mags are stronger than other brands.
