1. Stock in very nice shape, bore is mirror and the blue is 80% with a cleaning rod.

2. Downside is as with any other Carcano, Extremely Dirty. I'll be doing some cleaning on her later and post pics of before and after

Zou as much as I've razzed Neil about the short ugly Italian rifles I'm surprised he hasn't responded to my positive post on the 41. I didn't realize Sprng.Sporters had these. I'd love to have one that looks as good as this one. I can see past the grunge. ;)

1. Ive been busy so I didnt reply. They have many more for $60.00. You have to send a fax copy that it will be a non-shooter because they dont check headspace. I was half tempted to send you one.

2. Ive ordered the 8mm Carcano to finish my collection, but this is the model the shorties are based on.

1. Yes it is. It will take the clips from the other ones. The 8mm is the one that Im gonna have trouble finding clips for.

Neil - sounds like you got a good one. These rifles from SS are coming from Egypt, and some have minor pitting, but it sounds like you got a nice one! Let's see pictures of the cleaned up version!

You know that brings up a question. Where are the international beauties that have a big name recoginition in American film anymore. I can't think of any that would carry the recognition of Gina L. or Sophia Loren.

Speakin of Sophia, I saw her in Operation Crossbow Sunday. It was on Turner Classic movies. They ran it in widescreen for the full look it had when in the theaters. Decent movie, hadn't seen it since I was a teen.
